Just as the Hy-Vee Triathlon has always been, this race is open to anyone wanting to participate. Whether you are a first time triathlete or a veteran to the sport! There is no qualification process to race in this event.
HY-VEE TRIATHLON AGE GROUP
An athlete who races in the Hy-Vee Triathlon within a defined age range and who competes against others of the same sex within this age range. Example: Male 20-24. If an age group athlete decides to assist in the swim portion of the event for a relay team, that age group athlete is not eligible for an age group award and that age group athlete must start the event in the Relay Swim Wave.
