	RACE BRIEFING Prior to packet pick-up all athletes must attend a pre-race mandatory briefing.
	PRIZE PURSE The world's best 75 men and women will battle for their stake of the sport's largest-ever prize purse.
	HOME STAYS FOR ELITE ATHLETES The Iowa Council for International Understanding will be arranging home stays for elite athletes.
	ELITE ATHLETE TRANSPORTATION Free shuttle bus transportation will be provided for all elite athletes, coaches and managers from the Des Moines International Airport to the host hotel.
	ELITE ATHLETE HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS Hy-Vee will offer complimentary rooms to the top 50 ranked men and the top 50 ranked women according to current ITU World Rankings.
	2009 TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS Teams from every corner of the globe descended on the greater Des Moines community to vie to be crowned Team Triathlon World Champions.
