HY-VEE TRIATHLON

To register click the registration button above or download the registration form to mail. Just as the Hy-Vee Triathlon has always been, this race is open to anyone wanting to participate.  Whether you are a first time triathlete or a veteran to the sport! There is no qualification process to race in this event, simply follow the link above to register.

Team Relay

Relay teams must be comprised of three athletes – a swimmer, a cyclist and a runner. Teams can consist of an all male, female or co-ed team.

Corporate Team Relay

The first Corporate Challenge Team Relay event will be held during the Age Group Race of the annual Hy-Vee Triathlon. We are challenging you to sponsor an employee relay team comprised of three athletes – a swimmer, a cyclist and a runner. All participating corporate relay teams must be co-ed!   

Not only will the winning team cash in on a $10,000 donation to a charity, but they will also claim bragging rights with the coveted “Corporate Challenge Team Relay Cup”.

 

HY-VEE 5150 U.S. CHAMPIONSHIP

Age Group Elite

Top 15 in the Age Group Elite category at each of the 5150 qualifying events, qualifies for the Age Group Elite category for The Hy-Vee Triathlon 5150 U.S. Championship. To be eligible for the Age Group Elite category, athletes must furnish proof of completing an international distance event (1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run) during 2011 or 2012, with a time below 2:15 for men and below 2:30 for women.

Age Group

To qualify for this race, athletes must finish in the top 15 at a previous 5i50 event, in each of the following age group categories.

•    (Male and Female) 15-19, 20-24, 25-29……….. 80
•    Physically Challenged
•    Clydesdale 39 and under
•    Clydesdale 40 and over
•    Athena 39 and under
•    Athena 40 and over

Registration Process for Qualified Athletes

For all athletes that have qualified, a registration code will be sent via e-mail within one week following the event date and code will be valid for 2 weeks from the date of issue. After 2 weeks, registration code is no longer valid and if not used, will be forfeited.  Championship waves will start first followed by general entry participants. HY-VEE ELITE CUP 5150 U.S. CHAMPIONSHIP

This race is for professional athletes where 30 men and 30 women from around the world compete for the $1,000,000 Prize purse.
